18” x 24” | Charcoal on Paper | Original
“Moonlight Maiden” is a meditation on intuition, grace, and the quiet power of the feminine. Inspired by my lifelong love of horses and the ethereal pull of the night, this piece explores the connection between instinct and emotion—between the seen and unseen. Horses have always symbolized freedom and sensitivity to me; they feel before they act, and this intuitive knowing mirrors the way I move through the world as an artist. The moonlight becomes both muse and mirror, illuminating the dark feminine: mysterious, untamed, and deeply receptive. Rendered in charcoal, the soft contrasts of light and shadow capture that liminal space where strength meets surrender, and intuition becomes its own kind of radiance.
